Vancouver Naturalist Night 2019

Every two years, the BCCSN and the Wild Killer Whale Adoption Program host Naturalist Nights in Vancouver and Victoria. On May 8th from 6pm to 9pm, join us along with other ecotourism operators, naturalists, and researchers at the Vancouver Aquarium to learn about the latest in local marine mammal research in preparation for the busy whale-watching season ahead. This is an excellent opportunity for naturalists and scientists to network and get to know each other while learning about the local research occurring throughout BC waters. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

This year, we will be featuring presentations by “The Marine Detective” Jackie Hildering (Marine Education and Research Society), Dr. Anna Hall (Porpoise Conservation Society), killer whale expert Dr. Lance Barrett-Lennard (Ocean Wise Conservation Association), and more!
